When we started this business, we wanted a name that reflected a certain quiet dignity. After many sleepless nights, we decided to name our company after Tara’s childhood ambition. As the story goes, when Tara was 3 years old, she wanted to be a singing pig when she grew up. After years of relentless teasing, Tara reluctantly agreed to go public with her story and Singing Pig Food Co. was born.
No one can be sure, but somewhere close to 12,387 times!
No, we are proud to say that all of our products are pig-free!
The Pumpkin Pie Butter is by far the best seller. Mark's favorite however is the Bringin' Home The Bacon and Cheese Dip Mix and Tara's favorite is the Sweet Onion Salsa.

Singing Pig Food Co. began in 1996. Mark and Tara Brtek, after working in the "real world", decided they wanted to do something more exciting with their lives. The 9 to 5 (and sometimes 9 to 9) grind had lost its appeal very quickly, as did the idea of working for someone else.
Despite a lack of experience or money, they decided it would be fun to start a specialty food company. They quit their jobs and jumped right in to their new venture. Fortunately, because people love to eat, Singing Pig Food Co. was a success from the beginning.
Singing Pig Food Co. is a small, family-owned and operated company (you'll get the feel of just how "small" when you call to place an order and you can hear 13-year-old Chandler and 11-year-old Logan in the background!) We strive to bring you quality products, as well as superior customer service. We know you will find a favorite in our gourmet line and invite you to "pig out" with us on a regular basis!
Singing Pig Food Co. has been featured in local news publications and our Wine Garlic Mustard was seen on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
